Born in 1959 in Moscow. In 1977-1980 studied at the Faculty of Art and Graphic Arts of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. Since 1983 - a member of APTART. 1987 - founder and member of CLAVA. Participant of Workshops in Furmanny Lane and Workshops on Chistye Prudy. Lives and works in Cologne and Moscow.
One of the Moscow conceptualists who develops in his work the theme of art for those to whom it is practically inaccessible - for the blind, using Braille. In one of his works he used the marine alphabet. He participated in various biennales (III International Istanbul Biennale, 1992; Cetinje Biennale, 1994, 1997; special and parallel projects of the First and Second MBCI ("BEZ", from the collection of the MAMI Museum, "Communicators", "Believe", "Exhibition").
